Book Contest: The Backwaters Prize

The Backwaters Press revives the Backwaters Prize for a book-length manuscript of poems. Entry fee: $25. Judge for the 2012 prize: David Clewell. Submission period begins April 1, 2012 and concludes May 31, 2012. Manuscripts must be submitted electronically. A link for the electronic submissions will be available on the press website, http://www.thebackwaterspress.org/, on April 1, 2012. We adhere to the CLMP code of ethics for administering a literary contest. The prize is a $1,000.00 cash prize plus publication of your manuscript plus some beautiful object commemorating your achievement. The recipient will be announced in September 2012.
