Road Trip: Stories & Music in Ballard, Saturday night

I'll be stuck at home nursing my post-surgery pooch, but if I had the freedom to roam Saturday night, I'd definitely make it out to this event at the Enlighten Cafe & Art Gallery, from 7 to 10pm, in the heart of Ballard. Bellydancing, roots music, and a visit from the Straight No Chaser Mom herself, Jennifer Munro, one of our own from the poets gathering. Would make a nice complement to Seattle Beer Week, would it not? Maybe start by spending the afternoon at Squirreled Away, the Dray's 4th annual parking lot party (rare beers, food trucks).

Description from the Road Trip announcement:
Full-throttle fun, with Maureen (bellydance: Jabberwocky), Emily Riesser (soprano), John Henry’s Hammer (roots music), Ingrid Ricks (Hippie Boy: A Girl’s Story), David P. Moore (David & Suzanne's Big Frickin' Canadian Motorcycle Adventure), & Jennifer D. Munro (StraightNoChaserMom.com). All Ages Welcome. This project was supported, in part, by an award from 4Culture.
